Timeless Ladakh

Ladakh gives visitors the unique experience of high mountain beauty and ancient Tibetan Buddhist spiritual traditions as these customs are carried forward into Tibet’s serene and compassionate present. JOURNEYS has a 27-year relationship with our Ladakh guides, and they will share their culture, spiritual inspiration, and homes with us. Everyone who has been to Ladakh wants to return, and JOURNEYS owner and co-founder Will Weber is no exception. Will was on the first JOURNEYS first trip to Ladakh shortly after the region opened to foreigners in 1981 and has returned several times. You will visit remote villages, cross a high pass leading onto the Tibetan Plateau, and visit a high lake inhabited by rare wildlife. This is not a trek, but you will visit isolated and primitive areas at high altitudes with simple accommodations. Your exceptional leaders will include Tsering Norbo and Tsering Wangchook, the founding guides of JOURNEYS Ladakh; Lama Paldan, a world-renowned Buddhist monk; and Will Weber.
