Trip Itinerary

ANTICIPATED ITINERARY, ACTUAL ROUTE MAY VARY

Day 1  §  Cairo / Amman
After breakfast, transfer to the Cairo airport for your flight to Jordan.  On arrival at Queen Alia International Airport in Jordan, you will be met and transferred to a hotel in Amman. (B)

Day 2  §  Petra
Drive to Jerash (Gerasa of antiquity), the best preserved city from Roman times, to visit its theaters, temples, churches and colonnaded streets. Continue to Ajloun to tour the 12th century Saracen Castle built by one of Saladin's lieutenants in the campaign against the Crusaders. Continue to Petra for your overnight. (B,D)

Day 3  §  Petra / Amman
After breakfast, enjoy a full day at Petra. The last 800 meters, to reach Petra, are on horse back. Your local guide will show you around explain the sites. In the afternoon, return to Amman via desert way. Overnight in Amman. (B,D)
